Native is a student events discovery platform that aims to deliver the best experiences to students. Our website and app show events in your city and now we power experiences like University of Glasgow Freshers' Week 2020.

This year we are supporting the Student Union community through the Coronavirus Pandemic by providing an out-of-the box virtual events solution, in addition to top quality online and socially-distanced events for freshers programmes.

We strive to make our events as accessible as possible.

For enquiries about disability access and support, please get in touch with the Disability Service at disability@gla.ac.uk or phone 0141 330 5497.

The McIntyre Building and Gilchrist Postgraduate Club are all accessible - as is the Main Building. For more information on the accessibility of campus, head to the University's website.

For questions relating to GUSRC events please get in touch with us via events@src.gla.ac.uk

You can view native's Privacy Policy by clicking here.

For 99% of GUSRC events your age doesn't matter as our events do not ten to involve entering licensed premises (a bar). In the event that our events do take place in a licensed premises we will make you aware via the event description.

QMU and GUU's buildings contain bars, so for their physical events there are some restrictions.

  • After this time they cannot be admitted.
  • Under 18s are not allowed to buy alcohol in the GUU at any time.

  • If you're unsure about what these rules mean for you and want to find out how you can still enjoy GUU events, get in touch with GUU directly – www.guu.co.uk

QMU's Policy:

Under 18s are permitted entry to the QMU for the whole night as we close at 12AM. Under 18s are not permitted to buy alcohol, and QMU will be stamping/wristbanding those Freshers that are over 18 so that we don't serve anyone who is underage.
